- Min. 5 years experience in 2G/3G GPRS systems (SGSN/GGSN) design and/or optimization.
- Good knowledge in Packet Core technologies/protocols such as 2G/3G GPRS mobility management, session management, Gb-over-FR/IP, Iu-over-ATM/IP, GTP/GTP’, Sigtran, IN services and etc.
- Advantage to have knowledge in: Mobile applications/services such as WAP, MMS, Streaming and etc, Legacy/Next Generation IP technologies/protocols such as routing, multi-layer switching, IP addressing, MPLS, OSPF, BGP and etc, Ability to commission/integrate NSN 2G/3G and/or Cisco/Juniper network elements such as SGSN, GGSN, routers, switches and etc.
- Good track records in Packet Core/IP network rollout design and/or optimization projects.
General scope of work: The individual is expected to be involved in pre-sales consultancy, tenders and/or network rollout/optimization projects. He/She supports Account Teams/Project Teams/Customers directly to ensure planning /optimization related activities, capable to work independently or lead the team and has a good understanding planning & optimization area. Personal capability development and transfer (to customers/own team members/partners) are essential parts of this role as well. Personal Attributes:
BSc in Telecommunication, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Networking and/or any other relevant qualifications.
