Junior Manager
- Knowledge and understanding of the retail and corporate banking product set and operational processes
- In-depth knowledge of internal and external operational risk and governance control requirements (eg. Sarbanes Oxley, Basel II, COSO) and emerging regulatory and industry developments
- Knowledge of risk and control techniques
- Understanding of the basis of EC/Regulatory capital calculations and models, sufficient to influence inputs and outputs
- Experience of managing stakeholders at all levels
- Practical interpretation and application of risk and governance methods
- Previous risk management experience across many parts of the risk process e.g. audit, compliance, regulation, risk control, operations etc
- Substantive experience gained in a financial services business or professional services firm
- Team leadership and management experience
- Intellectually capable / graduate calibre
- Risk & control techniques (eg. risk assessment, control design and evaluation, auditing, risk mitigation)
- Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability
- Decision making
- Strong written and spoken communications
