  • HR Planning, forecasting & execution.  Formulation of plans whether to ensure transformational change such as merger, acquisition, business disposal or downsize and to achieve appropriate level of capability in the organization to ensure future business demand achieved
  • Detailed knowledge of external HR best practice, understands and challenges HR policy, direction and practice in a timely way to ensure Barclays achieves ‘Employer of Choice’ recognition
  • Organisational diagnosis, design & development which takes consideration of external trends, conditions and applies best practice to design, develop and facilitate high individual and organisational performance
  • Employee Relations D&G accredited and experienced in design of ER plans such that employees are engaged in the sharing of business information and consulted in business change as appropriate.  Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and ensure practical application in the work place.  Represents the business in employment tribunals or critical stage 3 D&G and ensures timely communication to the HR Director and MD for the cluster as appropriate.  Creates an ER climate where ETs are minimized due to good working practices and a positive high performance culture
  • Comprehensive understanding of Group, Business Cluster and HR strategy
  • Several years HR experience comprising a minimum of 7years generalist experience or HR consultancy experience in at least one HR specialism.   Mergers &Acqusitions  expertise.  HPO background.
